A business minded developer who strives to grow audiences and products.

Currently I spend my time helping lead the observability and incident management organization at Splunk. Before that I grew a small design and development shop by building web and mobile applications and helping clients build SaaS products.

I started my career working in the agency world helping brands communicate digitally but quickly discovered my love for building products and SaaS apps for customers then companies. In addition, I taught application development, creative technology, and start-up class at CU Boulder's Entrepreneurial Design Studio for over three years.

When I'm not enjoing time with my wonderful wife, two kids, two dogs, and 10,000 bees, I like to build things with my hands by remodeling my home or sometimes transforming beautiful pieces of wood in to objects that can occasionally be recognized as stools or benches. I don't dare refer to it as fine-woodworking much like a butcher wouldn't refer to themselves as a surgeon, but I'm getting better. I also enjoy jogging, mountain biking, playing hockey, love the outdoors, and like to write code/design apps in my freetime.
